Ladies Sangeet Night Dartford

A ladies Sangeet night is very important and Amar Hall, being an Indian run hall, knows all of the customs and the way in which it works. A Sangeet is hosted by the bride’s family who plays all of the music including the dholki (an elongated tabla) and sings all of the traditional songs. It is a fun-filled occasion with lots of dancing, singing and clapping.

Amar Hall has hosted many Sangeet nights through the years including the owners’ daughters! Amar Hall has some great connections for furniture and music for these events and has plenty of room to cater for the large numbers. The bride and her family can dress traditionally or more casual, it doesn’t matter, it is all about having a great time!

Each Sangeet night can be different and Amar Hall knows through experience that some will use our bar services and others will not. For those who do, Amar Hall have a great selection of wines, spirits, mixers, soft drinks and draught and bottled beer for the enjoyment of all of the guests!

Amar Hall also caters for Punjabi Mendi nights. These nights incorporate henna being drawn on the bride and her family. The hall recently hosted a Mendi night where cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were served to the guests. These cocktails increased the pleasure of the night with some of the bride’s family bringing their husbands who enjoyed their night away from the females.
